Application :

Fully synthetic metal working fluids (oil-free)- semi-synthetic metal working fluids (low oil content) - greases
DMTD increases the EP-performance of water miscible metal working fluids, particularly fully synthetic metal working fluids used for severe metal working operations (e.g. ironing of tins or wire drawing). Typical treatment levels in MWF concentrates are 1 to 5 %.
DMTD is clearly soluble in water by neutralization with inorganic alkalizing agents such as NaOH aqueous solution or alkanolamines.
DMTD is also applicable as solid additive increasing the EP-performance of greases.
Recommended dosage range: approx. 1 - 3 % b.w.
