product usage: Its chemical name is 2,5-bis(tert-dodecyldithio)-1,3,4-thiadiazole, used as copper corrosion inhibitor for industrial and automotive gear lubricants and greases.
Application :
T561 is metal deactivator for non-ferrous metals, specially for copper.
It has excellent oil solubility, copper corrosion inhibition and oxidation resistance. When used in hydraulic oil, it can significantly reduce the corrosion of ZDDP to copper and solve the problem of hydrolysis stability. When used in internal combustion engine oil, it can greatly improve the oxidation resistance of paraffin base oil. It can also be used in two-stroke engine oil to improve the anti-swelling performance of the lubricants oil.
Storage:
In accordance with local regulations, store in original container protected from direct sunlight in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area. Keep container tightly closed and sealed until ready for use.
